My name is Alexa Albin, but I decided to go by Lex when Amazon stole my name. I’ve been practicing yoga for 15 years and I’ve been teaching yoga for 8 years now. I have over 500 hours of training as an experienced registered yoga teacher. As I gained teaching experience, I also became a continuing education provider and started facilitating yoga teacher trainings too. Before I taught yoga, I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Anatomy & Physiology from the University of Utah. I taught Human Anatomy at the graduate school level, following my first dream of becoming a doctor. In 2018, my life dramatically changed and along with it, my dreams shifted. This is when I fully committed to the path of teaching yoga. I am deeply passionate about this life path and feel called to share yoga with the world. As I discovered more of my truth, I fell in love with Astrology as a tool to help me understand who I really am and to help me navigate this crazy game we call life. And sound has always been a big part of my life, from growing up as a dancer, to finding yoga at a young age, and experiencing live music whenever possible. Sound healing really found me and from my first sound bath I knew I wanted to become a practitioner. Sound is medicine. I play the crystal singing bowls to bring this medicine into my yoga classes and also to private events. It means so much to me to have this platform and share these gifts with you. I created this website as a hub where you can find all of my offerings. I look forward to connecting more with you, whether you’re a brand new or familiar face.
